You don’t need to cross an ocean to get state of the art Low Pressure Casting Equipment. ATD has provided low pressure casting machines for wheels and everything in between. Our casting machines range from small to one of the largest low-pressure machines on the market today. So whether you are casting crossmembers or knuckles we have a machine that will fit your needs.

At the heart of the process is a proportional air control fill system. This system provides you with precise control of the filling pressure without erratic spikes causing turbulence. Our PLC logic is innovative and one of the major advantages of our system. Our machines feature Allen Bradley controls. Data collection is also available upon request.
We have manufactured machines with up to 136 cooling lines. We can also accommodate digital flow meters to improve your process control. They can be programmed in the part recipe by time and/or temperature.
Our larger GEN3 machines feature a Cope Tilt Mechanism. This allows the operator to tilt the upper half of the mold out to 90+ degrees to allow easy viewing, inspection, and touch up of the mold coating.

The ATD casting system also allows for molten metal refilling within cycle time and no crucible furnace changeover time! With our innovative metal gate and wonder slide system, we are able to transfer metal from the holding furnace to the pressure furnace each cycle. Not only does this reduce metal delays, it also provides a constant metal level in furnace improving your process control.

Operator safety needs to come first, the ATD low pressure machines not only feature a Sitema safety catcher, but we also use safety die blocks as another level of safety to protect your operator while working in the machine.
